Friday, March 11, 2016:

The students should read their chapter book that they will be using to do their book report.  

The idea is to have most or all of the book finished when they come back so they may begin their project when they return.  Otherwise...

No homework!

Don't forget that we have our Science Centre Trip on the first day back...pack a lunch.

French - rehearse Les Dragons de Lacolle - we present on Monday, February 8

5 of our students participated in a Grade 6 basketball tournament today - I know they represented our class and our school well

Friday, February 5:

French - rehearse for Dragons de Lacolle plays on Monday

English - Write rough copy of Persuasive paragraph - use the organizer to assist

We had an African drumming workshop today.  Ask your child about it.

Report Cards went home today with your interview times in the envelope

This afternoon, we had a physical fitness group working with the students in the gym.  We were not in the classroom, so we do not have and homework from the afternoon.  Enjoy your night off!

In Dance today, we learned some basic ballet foot and arm positions.  Ask your child to demonstrate for you.

Upcoming:  Multiplication and Division word problems Test on Friday.
